MfPH will develop integrative and comprehensive models to quantify the burden of infectious disease on society by exploring the complete scope of potential health, social, economic, environmental and seasonal impacts of proposed public health interventions.
Researchers at the University of Toronto received $3M from the NIH in 2019 to produce chemical compounds for studying critical molecular mechanisms that support fungal virulence and the development of drug-resistance in animals. The project has received $3.1M in funding since 2016.
