A nearly $30 million grant from the NIH will fund research by UC College of Medicine’s Department of Emergency Medicine to examine the effectiveness of combination therapies implementing tissue plasminogen activator.

UC Health has opened a new facility that will serve as home for the Gardner Neuroscience Institute. The new $68 million, 114,000 square foot building opened April 11, 2019.
The Cincinnati Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences and Training has received $3.5 million in NIH funding in 2018 and $14.8 million since 2015.
The Center for Environmental Genetics at UC received $3.5 million in 2018 for gene-environment interaction research and translation.
