$365 Million Research Marketplace

A nearly $30 million grant from the NIH will fund research by UC College of Medicine’s Department of Emergency Medicine to examine the effectiveness of combination therapies implementing tissue plasminogen activator.

  • UC Health has opened a new facility that will serve as home for the Gardner Neuroscience Institute.  The new $68 million, 114,000 square foot building opened April 11, 2019.

  • The Cincinnati Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences and Training has received $3.5 million in NIH funding in 2018 and $14.8 million since 2015.

  • The Center for Environmental Genetics at UC received $3.5 million in 2018 for gene-environment interaction research and translation.
