OSU's Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Chemistry Building opened in 2015. This 225,000 sq ft, $126 million research building expanded laboratory space for researchers specializing in energy, nano/bioscience technology, and the environment.
Ohio State University's Medical Center received a $100 million grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration to bring the total budget for construction on the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute to $850 million.
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center will receive $5M in 2019 from NIH.

Last year, the BioResearch Product Faire™ Event at Ohio State University attracted 310 attendees, of which 63 were professors, post docs and purchasing agents. Of the total attendees 44 were lab managers. The balance were research associates and postgraduate students. These attendees came from 34 different research buildings and 41 on-campus departments.
