Meet With Researchers in This $72 Million Research and Development Marketplace

City of Hope, an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, is also home to the Beckman Research Institute.  Their staff conducts research to improve the world's understanding of how biology affects cancer, HIV/AIDS and diabetes.

 

 Key Stats:


  • 2020 Total NIH funding: $72,232,730
  • City of Hope Researchers received $2.5M in 2020 from the National Cancer Institute, to research and develop the potential of cancer immunotherapy as an effective treatment for lymphoma patients.  The project has received over $30M in funding since 2004.
  • Researchers at City of Hope received $2M in 2020 from the National Cancer Institute, to research and develop systems models to identify points of vulnerability for drug targeting of breast and ovarian cancer patients.  The project has received $8.4M in funding since 2017.
  • City of Hope Researchers received $5.9M in 2020 from the National Cancer Institute, to identify improved approaches to the development of new anticancer agents.  The project has received $13.2M in funding since 2014.
